Fluoride treatment

Fluoride is a natural mineral that builds strong teeth and prevents cavities. Fluoride supports healthy tooth enamel and fights bacteria that harm teeth and gum. Research has proven that fluoride in drinking water and in toothpastes reduces tooth decay.

Why should you opt for a fluoride treatment?

Fluoride is recommended if you are at high risk of developing dental caries or cavities. Depending on your oral health status, you might need a fluoride treatment every three, six or twelve months.

What does the procedure involve?

Professional fluoride treatments take just a few minutes. The procedure involves the dentist applying a cool fluoride-infused foam on the surface of your teeth. After the treatment, you will be asked not to rinse, eat or drink for at least 30 minutes to allow the teeth to absorb the fluoride and help repair microscopic areas of caries.
